In this course learn to know and understand the basics of International Accounting (IFRS: International Financial Reporting Standards). We explain you with extended examples, how to prepare a financial statement according to IFRS. At the same time the necessary book entries will be illustrated. Additional you will find out, which further components of a financial statement according to IFRS must be prepared and how the separate accounting transactions take effects to the other components of financial statements (statement of comprehensive income, statement of changes in equity, cash flow statement and notes). On grounds of comparability the appropriate provision according to HGB will be contrasted.

Herr Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ralf Michael Ebeling, geboren 1959, studierte von 1978 bis 1983 Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Dortmund und war danach wissenschaftlicher Assistent an der Rheinisch-Westfälischen Technischen Hochschule Aachen. Seit 1993 ist Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ralf Michael Ebeling Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Externes Rechnungswesen und Wirtschaftsprüfung an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. Das Gebiet der Konzernrechnungslegung zählt neben der Internationalen Rechnungslegung zu den Kernkompetenzen des Lehrstuhls. Zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen, Vorlesungen und Seminare sowie Beratungsprojekte belegen dies.
Er ist Vorsitzender des Prüfungsausschusses des Instituts für Unternehmensforschung und Unternehmensführung an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg e.V. (ifu) zur Durchführung der Prüfungen zum Certified IFRS-Accountant.
Prof. Dr. Monique Reis, Steuerberater und Content-Manager
Frau Prof. Dr. Monique Reis, Steuerberaterin, geboren 1965, studierte nach einer kaufmännischen Lehre von 1985 bis 1990 Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg und war danach dort wissenschaftliche Assistentin am Lehrstuhl für Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Betriebswirtschaftliche Steuerlehre. Nach dem Berufsexamen 1996 lag der Schwerpunkt ihrer Tätigkeit als selbständige Steuerberaterin in der Internationalen Rechnungslegung und im Internationalen Steuerrecht. Dazu gehörte insbesondere die Beratung und Schulung zur Umstellung von HGB auf IFRS sowie zu speziellen Bilanzierungsproblemen nach IFRS bei börsennotierten und mittelständischen Unternehmen. 2011 wurde sie zur Professorin für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Rechnungswesen an der Hochschule Fulda berufen.
Sie ist Mitglied im Prüfungsausschuss des Instituts für Unternehmensforschung und Unternehmensführung an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg e.V. (ifu) zur Durchführung der Prüfungen zum Certified IFRS-Accountant (ifu).

Herr Philipp Müller ist Master of Science (Finance and Accounting) und hat bereits einschlägige Berufserfahrung bei einer der "Big Four" der internationalen Wirtschaftspüfungsgesellschaften gesammelt. Er hat den Shop und die Lernplattform maßgeblich aufgebaut. Seit Mai 2023 ist er als Consultant bei einem bekannten Softwareunternehmen tätig.
